I replaced them with thin brass gibs which are unable to rotate, similar to what Myford use and they are very successful in eliminating lifting but still slide smoothly. Another option would be to drill deeper holes in the original gibs to get the screws closer to the bearing surface to help reduce turning momentumAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
