Square Four 

  • Tyre pressures & sizes: 28 psi on the front, 350-19 and 36 psi on the rear, Avon Roadrider Mk2
  • Engine Oil & capacity: SE rated 20W/50 (Halfords classic), 6 pints
  • Gearbox Oil & capacity: Morris K400EP, 
  • Fuel capacity: 4 gallons
  • Points gap & ignition timing: 0.012", TDC fully retarded
  • Valve Clearances: 0.001" inlet, 0.001" exhaust
  • Negative earth
  • Chains: 1/2" front, 72 pitches; 5/8" rear, 91 pitches
  • Weight: 412 lbs

W/NG

  • Tyre pressures & sizes: Dunlop K70
  • Engine Oil & capacity: Morris SAE50, 4 pints
  • Gearbox Oil & capacity: Morris K400 EP, 1 1/2 pints
  • Fuel capacity: 2 1/2 gallons
  • Points gap & ignition timing: 0.012", 1/2" BTDC fully advanced
  • Valve Clearances: nil when cold, inlet and exhaust
  • Negative earth
  • Chains: 1/2" front, 80 pitches; 5/8" rear, 92 pitches 
  • Weight: 354 lbs

Huntmaster

  • Tyre pressures & sizes
  • Oil & capacity: Morris SAE30 running in oil, 6 pints
  • Gearbox Oil & capacity: Morris SAE 50 engine oil with Morris K400EP around the speedo drive 
  • Fuel capacity: 4 1/2 gallons
  • Points gap & ignition timing: 0.012", 3/8" BTDC fully advanced
  • Valve Clearances: 0.010" inlet, 0.010" exhaust
  • Negative earth
  • Chains: 1/2" front, 73 or 74 pitches; 5/8" rear, 100 pitches 
  • Weight: 410 lbs
Note that the engine is built to Cyclone specification.
